Black Lives Matter- See Our Faces, Hear Our Names, Our Lives Matter

In the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests, I wanted to make a tribute video to the movement showing my love and support as an ally.

I am myself a white woman with three beautiful mixed children, a big portion of my immediate and extended family, and a huge number of friends and acquaintances being black or of mixed races. I have always associated myself with a diverse social group and feel like the social injustices and systemic racism issues of the world NEED TO CHANGE NOW on all levels.

This is a cause that falls deeply on my heart. As my video points out, we are not just talking about individuals defined by the color of their skin but actual people with a name and a purpose.

I want to give a special thank you to all my amazing family members who helped make this video possible. I love each one of you with all of my heart and I SEE all of you.
